The Harry Potter Tag

Fellow Potterheads, I was kindly tagged by Frankii over at QuiteFranklii to do The Harry Potter Tag. She did tag me a while ago but I'm only just able to get this done, sorry for the delay!

I've always loved Harry Potter, ever since I was a child! I grew up with the fantasy of one day receiving my Hogwarts letter but alas, I'm now 24 and hoping that one day I might suddenly discover my secret magical abilities... maybe.

I thought this would be a fun tag anyway, and if you know me, you know I'm a great big geek!

1. What house are you in?

According to Pottermore, I'm a Hufflepuff. At first I was disappointed but actually, I like it. Nymphadora is a fellow Hufflepuff, and I also named my first ever World of Warcraft character after her. Hufflepuff's are patient, hardworking and loyal, good traits to have!

2. What is your patronus?

Again, Pottermore has given me the West Highland Terrier as my patronus. I'm kind of like yay, it's a dog, but then oh... it's a Westie.. when I own Jack Russells. Now THAT would have been a good choice! If I did get to choose myself, it would be a fox, wolf or rabbit.

3. What is your wand?

My wand is spruce wood, with unicorn hair core, 11 inches in length and flexible. The spruce wand requires a firm hand. The match for a spruce wand is a bold spell-caster with a good sense of humour. Wands with unicorn hair are consistent and the most difficult to turn to the dark arts. They are faithful wands that grow a strong attachment to their owner.

4. What would your boggart be?

Well, if you know me, you know it would be some freakishly giant moth with huge teeth flapping it's wings in my face. No thank you. They're evil.

5. What position would you play in Quidditch?

Ok, if I take into consideration the only sport I was ever good at was tennis, badminton and the likes... I would have to be a Beater.

6. Would you be pure blood, half blood or muggle born?

I've seen this photo on Facebook and Twitter a few times.. I'm not sure what the original source is. But based on this I would be pureblood.

7. What job would you want to have after graduating Hogwarts?

It would have to be a Magizoologist like Newt Scamander (who is also a fellow Hufflepuff). I'm a crazy animal lady for sure.

8. Which of the Deathly Hallows would you choose?

A wand with immense power could be cool, I could do anything - so probably the Elder Wand.

9 What is your favourite book?

My favourite book will always be the first one. I love how magical and innocent it is. It's the book that started everything.

10. What is your least favourite book?

Order of the Phoenix. Why you got to be so god damn long?

11. What is your favourite film?

Prisoner of Azkaban. I love how things started to change visually. It's a beautiful film. I just love the whole theme throughout.

12. What is your least favourite film?

Chamber of Secrets. I never, ever re-watch it. Honestly, if it's on TV, I switch over too. I'm not entirely sure why. Maybe it's because of how irritating Lockhart and Ginny were.

13. Who is your favourite character?

Everyone knows I love Bellatrix Lestrange. I'm very partial to villains, they're always my favourite. I hope that isn't some insight into my deep subconscious... I'm a nice person really! One of my WoW characters are also called Bellatrix. Or it would have to be Dobby, he's adorable.

14. Who is your least favourite/ most hated character?

I think everyone will say the same thing here. Dolores Umbridge. Everyone has to hate the pretentious bully right?

15. Who is your favourite teacher at Hogwarts?

Sybill Trelawney, the divination professor. I just loved her quirky character, she's interesting.

16. Who is your least favourite teacher at Howarts?

Bloody Gilderoy Lockhart. Seriously, did anyone actually like that douche-bag?

17. Do you have any unpopular opinions about the series?

Hermione was irritating. Maybe it's just Emma Watson. I really don't get a long much with pretentious people. She got better towards the end at least!

18. If you could save one character from the final battle, who would it be?

I feel like Snape's death was necessary to the story. I think probably Fred, he didn't need to die.

I'm glad I got to do this tag, I loved logging back into my Pottermore and it's making me want to watch the films again! Perfect time since it's also Autumn and Harry Potter always makes me think of this time of year!
